Duncan established the business of Duncan Plante & Co in 1990 and has over 35 years experience as an accountant in both the commercial and professional fields including as a director of a corporate advisory firm.

Duncan also has a keen interest in business management and helping small businesses compete with big companies. He is a member of ‘The Executive Connection’ which is an international organisation that provides and promotes continuous learning, mentoring and development for Chief Executives and business owners.

Duncan’s wide network of contacts in the local area and beyond ensure his ability to provide the best possible advice at any time. Duncan and his family have lived in Tamworth for most of their lives.

Lynne has been with Duncan Plante & Co since mid 2004. She is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and has a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England. Lynne has acquired a vast range of accounting experience over more than 20 years in this field, working with firms in Sydney and in regional areas of NSW. In July 2007, Lynne became a partner in the firm.

Chris has been with Duncan Plante & Co since March 2010 and holds his professional qualification (CA) through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Chris’ agricultural and commercial background along with his previous experience from a large regional accounting firm make him a valued member of the Duncan Plante & Co team.

Chris’ professional areas of interest include small business and primary production accounting and taxation, self managed super funds and tax planning. His experience also includes working for various commodity trading companies in Australia and in the UK.

Chris was born and raised in the Wallabadah district on his parents mixed livestock farm. Chris holds a degree in Agricultural Economics as well as a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from UNE.

Tanya joined Duncan Plante & Co in July 2011. Tanya is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with more than 15 years experience in the professional accounting industry. Her professional experience includes business services, agribusiness, taxation, tax planning and self-managed superannuation funds.

Tanya holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Newcastle and has previously worked with firms in both Newcastle and large regional accounting firms.

Kylie joined the Duncan Plante & Co team in June 2006, with a focus on Tax Return preparation. Since then, her job description has expanded to include Financial Statement preparation, Business Activity Statement preparation and BankLink work. She has a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Accounting and is currently undertaking the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Program to attain CPA Accreditation.

Sam is our Administration Manager and is responsible for the monitoring of our Lodgement Program, Internal Reports, Processing of Wages and Super, maintaining our procedures manual, KPI’s and processing of ATO correspondence.
